Flavia Megna is an award winning Sicilian director and animator with a passion for telling heartfelt and fantastical stories. Her focus on mixed media animation is grounded in exploring emotion through tactility, and combining the physical with the fantastical, typical of magical realism.

Flavia's craft has been refined at her time at the National Film and Television School's Masters in Directing Animation, where the unified thread in her work is finding powerful emotional stories whilst making deeply personal films. 

Flavia also nurtures a great passion for game development. She first started illustrating and animating for games at the NFTS and is now in the process of pitching new exciting projects.

Currently based in the UK, Flavia is currently working as a freelance director, animator and concept artist.
